Can an employee check in on behalf of another?

Accepted Answer

The system is designed to make such misuse impossible.
With tapONE the employee must physically be at the location's device and use their own phone to check in.
With tapQ a dynamic QR code is used. This means the code cannot simply be photographed and sent to someone else.
At the same time tapwrk does not track employees' location. The system only records the moment of check-in via the device at the specific location.
This way you get reliable attendance information for your team without collecting employees' personal data.

Does tapwrk use biometric data like fingerprint or Face ID?

When an employee uses a fingerprint or Face ID, the verification is performed entirely by the phone's own device.
The biometric information never leaves the device. After successful verification the phone simply confirms that this is the corresponding user, without sharing the actual biometric data with the system.
